Product Description:
A range of antipiping compounds in powder form, used for topping ingot moulds, ladles, and foundry risers.
Function:
Generates sufficient heat while it burns by way of exothermic reaction and off-sets chilling of the molten metal under
the INEXO ISOTOP Powder cover. The burnt residue provides a strong insulation which reduces heat loss caused by
radiation.
Advantages:
Keeps the ‘head metal’ liquid for a longer period and hence allows better gravity feeding. Because of the above, double
pouring, if and when necessary, becomes easier.
